Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Litigation Associate to join their growing legal team. This is an in-office role offering the opportunity to work on a wide range of litigation matters, with a focus on commercial litigation and collections.
Duties:
- Manage and assist with commercial litigation and collection matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare written opinions
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
- Attend court appearances, mediations, and examinations as required
Qualifications:
- J.D. or LL.B. from a Canadian law school
- Licensed to practice law in Canada
- 1–3 years of litigation experience, including exposure to commercial litigation and collections
- Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills
