Deerfoot Meadows Dental is looking to hire a full-time Dental Hygienist for our family dental practice.
Schedule:
Tuesday: 11:30am - 7pm
Wednesday: 10:30am - 6pm
Thursday: 8:30am - 4pm
Friday: 9:30am - 5pm
Plus: 2 Saturdays per month: 8:30am - 4pm
Hours subject to change depending on demand and availability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral health care recommendations
- Take dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
- When not booked, call patients due for recalls and book next hygiene visits
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license (Alberta)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Nice to have: proficiency in Dentrix or other dental software
