Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess strong negotiation skills, and have experience in B2B and retail sales environments. This role involves engaging with customers, managing the sales pipeline, and providing exceptional customer service to drive vehicle sales. The Automotive Sales Consultant will play a key role in expanding our customer base through effective marketing, upselling, and sales support strategies.
Duties
- Engage with prospective customers through outside sales efforts to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
- Conduct high-end vehicle consultations, demonstrating features and benefits tailored to customer needs.
- Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting dealership sales targets.
- Manage B2B relationships and maintain ongoing communication with clients for repeat business and referrals.
- Support the dealership’s marketing initiatives by promoting special offers and new vehicle arrivals.
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer experience and dealership revenue.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up schedules using CRM tools.
- Provide excellent customer service through professional communication skills, phone etiquette, and personalized attention.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for increasing sales volume and market share.
- Assist in developing a robust sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive or retail sales, with a strong background in outside sales and negotiation.
- Demonstrated success in vehicle sales or other sales preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English/French is highly desirable to serve diverse customer demographics effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and follow-up activities efficiently.
- Experience with B2B sales strategies and managing a comprehensive sales pipeline.
- Knowledge of marketing principles related to automotive or retail sectors is a plus.
- Sales management experience or background supporting dealership operations is advantageous.
- Ability to upsell products/services while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- A professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $52,306.00-$146,614.00 per year
