We are looking for a Grill Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong grill experience, understands proper meat temperatures and food safety standards, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a team-oriented kitchen.
Responsibilities
-Grill meats, seafood, and other menu items to company standards
-Ensure proper cooking temperatures and food safety procedures are followed
- Work fryer station if needed
- Maintain quality, consistency, and speed during service
- Keep station clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift
- Work efficiently during high-volume periods
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Line Cook, Grill Cook, or similar position
- Strong grilling experience and knowledge of proper cooking temperatures
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant kitchen
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Familiarity with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine is considered a strong asset
Availability
- Flexible schedule required
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Must be available to work August 7, 8, and 9, 2026 (Taste of the Danforth)
Pay
$19.00–$21.00 per hour + Tip Pool
