We are adding a full-time Shipper/Receiver to our team. We are looking for a candidate that has previous experience in a warehouse environment, specifically with order picking, shipping or receiving. Forklift experience is not necessary, we do not have a forklift.
The ideal candidate must be able to hustle when necessary, have great computer skills, pay close attention to detail, work well in a team and be able to multi-task. We operate like a mini-Amazon, we warehouse product lines and handle daily order pick and pack, shipping and receiving for several large clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Fill daily orders and prepare product for shipping
- Pack, wrap and load items to be dispatched
- Prepare shipping documentation, as needed
- Load and unload product from trucks
- Check incoming product for damage
- Count and receive incoming production according to company policy
- Place incoming products into warehouse racks
- Participate in inventory counts and perform other duties, as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
Other Skills/Abilities
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle tasks efficiently
- Good computer skills
- Previous experience with warehouse handling equipment such as pump trucks and walkie stackers will be considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
