Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring the health and aesthetic appeal of various properties. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work. Responsibilities
- Mow lawns, trim shrubs, prune trees, and perform general landscaping tasks to maintain property appearance.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as zero turn, push mower, trimmers and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, contributing to landscape design projects.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Apply horticultural practices to promote healthy plant growth and pest control.
- Support construction or renovation projects related to landscape features as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dispose of debris responsibly.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery.
- Experience with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning.
- Construction experience is a plus for installing features or performing site improvements.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Prior experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
