Summary
We are seeking a dedicated AZ Truck Driver to join our team in Essex. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across regional and international routes, supporting our mission to deliver excellence in logistics.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely across various routes, including cross-border shipments.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight when necessary.
- Adhere to all transportation laws and company policies.
- Support the maintenance of heavy equipment as needed.
- Qualifications
- Valid AZ driver's license with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably in freight or logistics.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and transportation laws.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs is a plus.
- Flexibility to handle international routes when required.
