About NDL Industries
NDL Industries is a growing and dynamic HVAC-R manufacturing and distribution company with operations across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting professional. This role is heavily focused on Accounts Payable but also provides exposure to bookkeeping, month-end accounting, process improvement, ERP systems, and broader finance initiatives. Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approval coordination, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations
- Coordinate vendor payment schedules and assist with cash management activities
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Ensure invoices and expenses are processed accurately and efficiently
- Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of accounts payable procedures and controls
Accounting & Finance
- Prepare journal entries and month-end adjustments
- Complete account reconciliations and supporting working papers
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Support internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation
- Assist with ERP system maintenance and accounting system updates
- Support the broader finance team with special projects and ad hoc analysis
- Take on additional accounting responsibilities as skills, experience, and business needs evolve
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting diploma, certificate, or equivalent education
- Progress toward a CPA designation or other accounting credential
- Experience with Sage 300, SAP Business One, or similar ERP systems
