We are hiring dedicated and reliable Cabinet and Baseboard Installers with a minimum of 2-5+ years experience, to work with us on our high volume Kitchen Renovations and Interior projects.
Full time - Year Round projects.
In this position, you will be responsible for executing high-quality finish carpentry work, constructing and installing cabinets, moldings, kitchen vanity and bathroom related tasks, and other woodwork with meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be able pass CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK (as we sometimes work in occupied units of high end clients).
Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to;
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand tools and power tools with precision.
- Install cabinets, shelves, drawers, and other wooden fixtures.
- Experience with Baseboards, Railings, Tile work, basic plumbing, Kitchen/Vanity, Sinks, Countertops, Backsplash, and overall woodworking.
- Utilize a variety of tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers
- Ensure precision in measurements and cuts for accurate assembly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to ensure adherence to safety standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate seamless project workflows.
- Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during on-site assembly and installation tasks.
- Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, painting, sanding, and touch-ups to achieve a polished look.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate material take-offs and labor assessments when required.
Qualifications;
- Must be able pass CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK (as we sometimes work in occupied units of high end clients).
- 2-5 years experience.
- Own tools.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical schematics for diverse construction projects.
- Extensive experience with carpentry, woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, and installation processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machinery knowledge is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials including drywall, siding materials, tile setting compounds, flooring options, and masonry components.
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical basics relevant to cabinetry or fixture installations is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material quantities and labor costs.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical instructions effectively.
- Demonstrated heavy lifting capability combined with excellent attention to safety standards in demanding environments.
- Handyman experience or general construction experience is highly valued for versatility across multiple trade tasks.
