Established in 1949 Pedersen's Event Rentals is a full-service event and party rental company which is still family owned and operated. We provide a large selection of specialty items for special events including table linen and napkins, tableware, glassware, tables and chairs etc.
We have a full-time seasonal position available for a person who will be responsible for the daily use of washers, dryers and flat irons. We are located in South Vancouver near Fraser St and Marine Dr. in Vancouver with easy access to public transit.
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday - This is a full-time seasonal position ending on October 31st)
You must be physically fit, reliable, punctual, safety conscious and possess a strong work ethic.
You will be responsible for:
- Clean and iron linens in accordance with company policies
- Fold and restock clean linen
- Inspect and sort returned dirty linen for damage
- Be able to lift up to 40lbs and feel comfortable using a step ladder
- Strong spoken English communication skills
- Being flexible and willing to try new things
