Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational standards to drive store success. Bilingual abilities and prior retail management experience are highly valued to support diverse customer needs and team coordination.
Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Manage and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance performance.
- Oversee customer service interactions, resolving issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash register operations including cashiering, cash handling, and POS transactions with accuracy.
- Assist in merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies and product placement to maximize sales.
- Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to maintain stock levels and manage store supplies efficiently.
- Conduct recruiting activities such as interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and record keeping.
- Execute marketing initiatives within the store to promote products and special offers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in retail or related fields with strong team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organizational abilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales processes, POS systems, merchandising, pricing, and store management.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, marketing, and sales management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, math skills for cash handling, and time management.

Pay: $20.71-$21.50 per hour
