Job Overview:
BioSteel/Canadian Protein is seeking a detail-oriented Amazon Marketplace Coordinator to join our Marketplace team, with a primary focus on managing and maintaining product listings across Amazon Canada and Amazon US. This role will support the day-to-day execution of our Amazon catalogue, ensuring product listings are accurate, retail-ready, compliant, and up to date, while assisting with new product launches and resolving listing and content issues.
The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of Amazon listings and understands the fundamentals of Amazon's catalogue and content systems. You are organized, proactive, comfortable troubleshooting listing issues, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. You will work closely with Marketplace Operations, Marketing, Creative, and other cross-functional teams to support the BioSteel and Canadian Protein brands. As our Marketplace business grows, this role may also provide support for Walmart and other marketplace channels.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace Listings & Content:
- Create, update and maintain product listings across Amazon Canada and US.
- Ensure product titles, bullets, descriptions, attributes, images and other listing content are accurate and up to date.
- Review key products regularly to ensure listings are active, accurate and available for purchase.
- Create and maintain product variations/twisters.
- Coordinate with Creative on product images, A+ Content and other marketplace content requirements.
- Identify listings where content changes are not publishing correctly or contributions are being controlled by another selling account, and escalate as needed.
Marketplace Account Health & Listing Support:
- Monitor policy violations, listing suppressions and compliance notifications as assigned by the Marketplace Operations Lead.
- Investigate and resolve listing-related issues and suppressions.
- Create, monitor and respond to Amazon support cases related to listings and content.
- Escalate issues that require additional operational or leadership support.
- Review stranded and unsellable inventory where listing issues may be contributing to the problem.
Marketplace Planning & Execution:
- Review upcoming product launches and ensure listings are complete and retail-ready ahead of launch.
- Coordinate with Marketplace Operations, Marketing and Creative to ensure new products are ready to go live.
- Support promotional readiness by ensuring participating listings have accurate and current content.
- Review upcoming assortment changes and complete required listing updates.
- Conduct ongoing listing audits and content optimization across the BioSteel and Canadian Protein assortments.
Marketplace Expansion Support:
- Support product and listing setup for new marketplace accounts.
- Assist with marketplace requirements for new brands or assortments.
- Document listing processes and requirements to help establish consistent Marketplace standards.
Your Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
- 1–3 years of e-commerce or marketplace experience, including hands-on experience managing Amazon product listings
- Working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, including product setup, attributes, catalogue structure, and listing requirements
- Ability to create and maintain product detail pages, variations, images, A+ Content, and other Amazon content
- Familiarity with troubleshooting listing issues such as suppressions, content conflicts, catalogue errors, and Amazon support cases
- Excellent attention to detail with the organizational and problem-solving skills needed to manage multiple products and priorities
- Effective communication and the ability to collaborate across Marketplace Operations, Marketing, Creative, and other internal teams
- Understanding of new product launches and the requirements to ensure listings are accurate and retail-ready
- CPG industry knowledge is preferred, particularly within food, beverage, nutrition, health, or wellness categories
- Knowledge of Walmart or other online marketplaces is considered an asset
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
