Duties & Responsibilities
This is a training and mentorship position. After the mentorship period, there is a strong expectation that the candidate will have achieved the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and be promoted to Financial Planner.
The Associate is responsible for supporting the firm’s Financial Planners and providing general advice and assistance to our clients. The training program exposes the Associate to financial and retirement planning, tax planning, and investment management. Specific duties include client servicing, preparing financial plans, preparing for and participating in client meetings, preparing tax returns, conducting investment research and analysis, managing the trade desk, and completing assigned administrative tasks. All of this work is performed under the guidance of a Senior Financial Planner.
Education & Experience
You have a university or college degree and are working towards the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. You are a self-starter with superior technical skills, strong attention to detail, and you excel at client servicing. Your experience must include working in the banking or financial services industry.
