General Description
The Warehouse/Yard Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and yard operations, including inventory management, order picking, material handling, and shipping/receiving.
Skill/Effort Requirements
- Valid forklift certification required
- Previous warehouse, yard, or material handling experience is an asset
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work (max 50lbs)
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation of the Calgary warehouse area.
- Organize and maintain Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) to ensure accurate stock levels
- Pick, pack, and prepare components and materials for orders
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Perform quality checks on parts and materials as required
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard, including general cleaning duties
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Label, store, and track materials in designated locations
- Perform regular inventory counts and asses with stock control
- Use basic computer systems for inventory counts and assist with stock control
- Use basic computer systems for inventory and order processing
- Assist with general yard duties, including outdoor material organization
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions as required
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet operational goals
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers
- Order picking based on order pull sheets.
- Assisting in the delivery of material to the Manufacturing building as required.
- Physical inventory and maintaining the integrity of all material at the warehouse.
- Shelving product as required.
- Maintaining the highest standards of customer service, both internal and external.
- Maintain required operating licenses and/or certifications as required.
