Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipper and Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the inbound and outbound shipment processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Duties
- Adhere with the Health and Safety Regulations (as per section 28 of the OHSA)
- Ensure that all outgoing shipments to sub contractors and customers have the complete and accurate paperwork.
- Make sure the load is physically reviewed against packing slip information for accuracy
- Forward all documentation as per procedure to Customer Service Representative and other departments as necessary
- Notify management of any potential issues, ensure that any short shipments are immediately communicated.
- Ensure all Equipment and Fixtures are properly maintained
- Follow the company specified packaging/ shipping procedures
- Load, unload, prepare, and operate the forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety standards and rules.
- Ensure all access doors used are locked at the end of each shift.
- Inspection and documentation of outgoing/incoming Materials / Products
- Responsible for emptying the scrap bins throughout the plant.
- Provide the assembly area with the necessary product/components accurately and on a timely basis.
- Ensure that all painted product is stored in its appropriate/designated locations
- Ensure that all purchased components are received and put away in their appropriate locations.
- Train new employees and assist on going basis/ provide assistance where necessary.
- Maintaining 5S
- ·Ability to use hand and power tools including table saw in a safe manner to build wood crates for shipments to customers

Skill Requirements
- Material handling experience with forklift
- Must be able to build shipping crates and packaging units out of wood using pneumatic tools and table saw
- Forklift operator license
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to carry out multiple tasks under significant time pressures
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects with great care as well as speed.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
