Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Subcontractors to provide high-quality cleaning services for commercial facilities. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work independently while maintaining clean and safe environments for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, facilities maintenance, or related fields, and possess a strong work ethic to ensure customer satisfaction.
This is a commercial sub-contract package with separate locations around the Surrey area. You will be responsible for following the scope of work outlined by the client for every visit of each account.
Location details:
- Pediatrics office in Rosemary Heights $300 / Month Monday/Wednesday/Friday 1 hour estimated per visit
- Law office close to Pediatrician, also in Rosemary Heights $200 / Month 1 clean on weekend 45 minutes estimated per visit
- Medical Training Center Port Kells (This account has 2 locations both a 3-5 minute drive from apart) Main location - $200 / Month. Tuesday/ 1 Weekend Clean 1 hour estimated per visit
Other location - $125 / Month 1 Weekend Clean 45 minutes estimated per visit
- Old Folks Home (upstairs office area only) by Fleetwood Park $250 / Month Wednesday/ 1 Weekend Clean 1 hour estimated per visit
Total Monthly Earnings = $1,025
Total estimated labour hours = 36 per month
Preference will be given to applicants who are able to take the full package of accounts.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies
- Follow safety protocols and use proper protective equipment during all cleaning activities
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to client-specific instructions and schedules according to the scope of work
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
- GST Registered
- General liability Insurance
- Worksafe BC Clearance
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to reach various job sites as needed
- Ability to lift moderate loads and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment at all times
