Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate – Night Shift, that plays an important role in our warehouse operations, with a primary focus on case picking and order preparation. In this position, you will accurately pick and assemble customer orders using an RF scanner, build products onto pallets according to established standards, and prepare orders for shipping. You will also assist with general warehouse duties as required. The role will report to the Night Supervisors.
Duties
- Lifting, loading and stacking food service products (up to 50lbs) onto pallets.
- Safely and efficiently navigating the warehouse using a power pallet jack.
- Accurately scanning and selecting product using an RF scanner.
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, and Food Safety programs.
- Adhering to all Organizational policies, procedures, and cornerstone values.
- Additional loading, shipping and/or stocking duties.
- All other duties as required.
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution.
- Must be physically fit and able to safely and repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items.
- Must be able to work quickly and maintain a high level of energy throughout the shift.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance.
- Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
Work Environment and Work Schedule
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse environment, with a focus on team collaboration and efficiency.
- Occasional overtime may be required, especially during peak seasons.
- Stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn body, walk, lift, and operate warehouse equipment
- Must have the ability to talk and hear; hear warning horns on moving machinery and equipment
- The work environment includes colder temperatures, congested and high traffic areas - may occasionally work in high and precarious places.
Schedule:
- 10 days biweekly = Alternating Days Off
- 5:00PM – as required
- Onsite everyday
