As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a motivated and professional Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one active rehabilitation sessions tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for injury rehabilitation, chronic condition management, and functional improvement.
- Monitor patient progress and modify exercise programs based on clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Assist in delivering active rehabilitation programs for ICBC, private-pay patients.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and patient-centered clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or a related field.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
- Experience in active rehabilitation, exercise therapy, or a clinical setting is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience using electronic medical records and clinical software; familiarity with Jane App is an asset.
- Multilingual abilities in English, Hindi, and Punjabi are a strong asset for serving our diverse community.
