Reporting to the Program Manager, this position is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and operational support along with other activities associated with the Health Link Health centre. Functions include, but are not limited to: timekeeping, scheduling and schedule maintenance, information management (including data integrity and quality control), compilation of all communications to clients and the general public (including error correction and check for quality and accuracy), report generation, word processing, data entry, records management, meeting minutes, supporting managers in booking meetings, Performance Conversations etc., maintaining supplies and distribution and maintaining communication channels with internal and external agencies, partners and stakeholders, The Operations Support Staff works closely with other admin. and contact centre staff to coordinate, track and complete routine and special project work. The Operations Support Staff must be highly organized, able to work independently, and are cross trained in support functions as required. Strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook are required. Other duties include general support services such as filing, photo copying, provincial reporting, and database management, etc. Your solid knowledge of Primary Care Alberta systems, computer systems, and computer applications will enable you to meet tight timelines.

Additional Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, supplemented by a post secondary Secretarial or Administrative Support certificate and at least 2 - 3 years working in an office setting within the last 5 years, with progressively responsible experience delivering support to managers. Your strong organizational skills and ability to problem solve will allow you to manage multiple competing priorities in a timely manner. The successful candidate must have a minimum typing speed 55 WPM. This candidate will possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills, have a strong knowledge of office policies and procedures, the ability to work independently with confidence and efficiency, accuracy under pressure and well developed organizational skills. The candidate will have the ability to recognize potential errors and provide solutions; troubleshooting skills required and be dedicated to quality improvement. This candidate will need to demonstrated the ability to work in a team setting, Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications, fast and accurate data entry skills with attention to detail required, the ability to deal with varied and diverse issues/groups/individuals and must be able to bend and lift to shoulder level up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare centre experience is an asset. Knowledge of WFM is an asset. Strong knowledge of Excel is an asset.
