Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Experienced Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every step. Your hands-on expertise and proactive approach will help drive projects forward, from foundational work to finishing touches. Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently across multiple tasks
- Prepare construction sites by performing demolition, clearing debris, and setting up necessary materials and equipment
- Support construction estimating efforts by providing accurate measurements and material requirements
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, Backhoe and skidsteers when required for site preparation or material handling
- Assist with site safety protocols including hazard identification and maintaining a clean work environment
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of building processes and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Experience with sewers and water is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in diverse project environments
