Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals based on monthly meal plans.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Flexibility to work on various shifts, including weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and helping create memorable dining experiences for guests.
