We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing frameworks for buildings and structures, ensuring safety, precision, and adherence to project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, along with the ability to operate various tools and heavy equipment. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including restoration, contributing to high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing projects
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large materials or structural components
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Assist in the setup and teardown of job sites, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate efficient workflowExperience
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields with a focus on framing projects
