Pacific Living Contracting is looking for an experienced, hands-on Carpenter / Renovation Contractor to join our growing team.
This is a tools-on position. We're looking for someone who enjoys working on the job site, building, renovating, and seeing a project come together — not someone looking for an office or sales position.
If you're an experienced tradesperson who would rather build than sell, this could be a great fit.
> What You'll Be Doing
Our projects vary from smaller renovations to complete home improvements, including:
- Kitchen renovations
- Bathroom renovations
- Fireplace projects
- Flooring installation
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Interior renovations
- Finish carpentry
- Custom woodwork and built-ins
- Doors, trim and millwork
- Decks and exterior carpentry
- General renovation and construction work
- Demolition and project preparation
- Repairs and renovations as required
> What We're Looking For
Experience is a must.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has several years of professional carpentry / renovation experience
- Is confident working independently
- Has their own tools & truck
- Can read plans and understand project requirements
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Can problem-solve on the job
- Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Has experience with residential renovations
- Is comfortable working on a variety of projects
A broad skill set is a major advantage. The more you can do independently, the better.
This Position Is For Someone Who Wants To Work With Their Hands
You will NOT be expected to:
- Generate sales
- Find customers
- Sell renovation projects
- Prepare estimates
- Manage company invoicing
- Collect payments
- Handle office administration
