Our client is currently seeking a reliable and hard working associates to join their team. Our client is a leader in the plastic printing industry. We are currently looking for associates to start ASAP on Day as a Maintenance Helper.
LOCATION:
SHIFT:
- Days - Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm
- Fridays - 7am to 3pm
DUTIES:
1. Basic Equipment Support
- Assist maintenance technicians/mechanics with:
- Routine repairs on production equipment (extruders, bag machines, conveyors, etc.)
- Equipment setup and teardown
- Troubleshooting minor issues
- Hold tools, pass parts, and support hands-on repairs
2. Preventive Maintenance Activities
- Help perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as:
- Lubrication (greasing bearings, chains, etc.)
- Cleaning machinery and components
- Changing filters, belts, or basic parts
- Follow preventive maintenance checklists
3. Cleaning & Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness of:
- Maintenance shop
- Equipment areas
- Workstations and tools
- Clean spills, remove scrap, and support 5S initiatives
Requirements:
- Must have technical/mechanic experience
- Must have warehouse experience
- Apprentice is a strong asset
- Must be able to work in hot environment
- Must be seeking long term
- Must have experience using hand tools
- Must be able to do physical work
- Experience in packaging industry (plastic) is a strong asset
