Designated employer with AIP seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
- Monitor food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation regulations are followed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Follow all health department regulations and safety protocols to prevent contamination or accidents
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in meal preparation and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
