We are seeking a skilled Licensed Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical systems, and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed for repairs or replacements
- Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to ensure accurate work
- Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle components or parts safely during repair procedures
- Maintain detailed records of services performed for each vehicle
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks to uphold shop standards
Requirements
- Valid automotive technician license or certification required 310S
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Proficiency in welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in automotive repair or maintenance roles is preferred
Pay: $36.00-$50.00 per hour
