Field Equipment Mechanic
We are looking for a Field Equipment Mechanic for our Deer Lake Site. (Pine Dock, MB) The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment in the field. This role requires strong mechanical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Perform daily maintenance on tractors and equipment;
- Carry out repairs and perform preventative maintenance;
- Diagnose and maintain power transmissions, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems;
- Complete approved work orders according to the established schedule.
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Training or experience in mechanics is required;
- Experience with agricultural equipment is an asset;
- You have a strong mechanical aptitude;
- You have basic welding knowledge;
- You work quickly and efficiently;
- You can prioritize tasks and stay organized.
