Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, construction, and renovation projects. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The Electrician will work on diverse projects that require technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints. Candidates with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and handyman skills are highly valued for this position.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and effectively
- Perform renovation tasks involving electrical systems in existing structures
- Set up and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems as required
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction or renovation projects involving electrical components
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with industrial or construction backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Familiarity with PLC programming and low voltage systems is preferred
- Experience in renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid electrician’s license or certification is required where applicable
- Handyman experience or general construction background is a plus

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
