Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight current promotions and new arrivals
- Stock shelves accurately, organize merchandise, and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone, computer, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist in store operations by managing stock levels, replenishing items, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers confidently
- Experience in retail stores or similar retail environments will help you hit the ground running
