The Opportunity
We're hiring an Online Music Tutor to deliver engaging, one-on-one and small-group music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels — from complete beginners picking up their first instrument to intermediate learners looking to refine their technique. Whether your expertise is in piano, guitar, vocals, music theory, or any other discipline, this is your chance to share your passion for music while enjoying the freedom of remote, flexible work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online music tutoring sessions tailored to each student's skill level, goals, and musical interests
- Develop structured and engaging lesson plans covering technique, music theory, ear training, and performance
- Adapt teaching methods to suit students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning styles
- Use Educify's virtual learning tools to deliver high-quality, interactive instruction
- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Foster a creative, encouraging, and supportive learning environment that keeps students motivated
Qualifications
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments or disciplines (e.g. piano, guitar, violin, voice, drums, music theory)
- Previous tutoring, teaching, or music instruction experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is an asset — but not required with strong practical experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to break down complex musical concepts in a simple, engaging way
- Patient, creative, and adaptable teaching style suited to learners of all ages
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, laptop, webcam, and a quiet space suitable for music instruction

Compensation
$18–$32per hour, based on qualifications and experience
