Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Crew Member to join our landscaping team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various lawn and landscape maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and outdoor work, with a strong focus on quality and safety. Prior experience with landscape maintenance, mechanical tools, or construction is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform general turf maintenance using hand tools and power equipment
- Operate machinery such as skid steers and irrigation systems for installation or repair projects
- Assist with planting, pruning, fertilizing, and watering plants to promote healthy growth
- Maintain landscape features including flower beds, shrubs, trees, and lawns
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Support construction or installation projects related to landscape features or irrigation systems
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized after completing tasks
- Follow safety protocols during operation of machinery and handling of tools
Skills
- Experience with landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, hand tools, and power tools
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticultural practices
- Ability to operate excavators or other heavy machinery is a plus
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and gardening principles
- Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Construction experience beneficial for installing or repairing landscape features
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
