Mr Frosty is recruiting a few Solid Supervisors to oversee groups of 4-6 Ice Cream Cart Vendors at the Abbotsford Agrifair July 31, August 1 & 2 and the Abbotsford AirshowAugust 7,8 & 9
Applicants Must have Supervisory experience. Preference is given to those with Arena, Stadium, Event or Park Concessions, Fast Food or Catering experience. You need to have experience handling cash, making change & conversing with guests. The Ability to navigate an app on a smartphone and experience with debit & credit machines is necessary.
Duties include the placing Ice Cream Carts & Vendors in predetermined spots, training, mentoring & supporting the vendors, operating their cart while the Vendor is on a break, ensuring the Vendors on your team get their breaks, keeping supplies stocked, closing the cart at the end of the day, assisting the vendor with returning it to the hub, simple clean, up etc.
This is a large site and the position involves a lot of walking. You need comfortable shoes, a hat & sunscreen. You will be away from the hub working with your team for extended periods. Your goal is to assist your team in selling as much ice cream as possible.
Shifts are 8-10 hours long and Supervisors must be able to work the full shift. Pay is $20+ per hour depending on experience.
While Supervisory exp[erience is necessary, training about Ice Cream selling is provided.
