Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Service Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food safety standards, and ensuring efficient service delivery to create a welcoming and high-quality dining experience.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness throughout the establishment
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism to foster a positive work environmentSkills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle cash accurately and manage financial transactions
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant workflows
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Experience in hotel or barista environments is a plus but not required
