Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Weekly Pool Service Person to maintain and service residential swimming pools. This role involves performing routine cleaning, chemical balancing, and minor repairs to ensure optimal pool operation and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in pool maintenance and a strong background in landscape or construction-related tasks, with the ability to work independently or part of a team on a weekly schedule. A passion for outdoor maintenance and customer satisfaction is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and emptying skimmer baskets
- Test and adjust water chemistry to maintain proper pH, chlorine levels, and overall water quality
- Inspect pool equipment such as filters, pumps, and heaters; perform minor repairs or notify management of larger issues
- Assist with construction or maintenance projects related to pool areas or landscape features as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities
- Keep detailed records of service visits, chemical treatments, and repairs performed
Skills
- Experience with pool maintenance and chemical balancing is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment and general outdoor machinery
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction or landscaping equipment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary
- Prior experience in landscaping or construction is a plus but not required
