Position Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Representative – Fabricator Sales to join our growing team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role will focus on developing and expanding partnerships with porcelain slab fabrication companies, countertop manufacturers, and related industry professionals.
The ideal candidate is a sales professional who understands the fabrication and surfacing industry, enjoys building long-term relationships, and has a passion for identifying new business opportunities. You will serve as a key liaison between our company and fabricator partners, helping drive specification, sales growth, and market share for our porcelain slab collections..
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and grow sales within the GTA through existing and prospective porcelain slab fabricators.
- Build strong relationships with fabrication companies, shop owners, estimators, project managers, and decision-makers.
- Conduct regular visits to fabrication facilities to provide product training, technical support, and sales assistance.
- Identify and pursue new fabricator partnerships and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with fabricators on residential, commercial, hospitality, and multi-residential projects.
- Promote the benefits, features, and applications of porcelain slabs to fabricators and their clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and project support.
- Assist with trade shows, industry events, product launches, and educational presentations.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the company's CRM system.
What You Bring to the Role
- 3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience.
- Experience within building materials, tile, stone, and porcelain slab products.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to develop business and manage customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the GTA.
Nice to Haves
- Experience working with porcelain slab fabricators or stone fabrication companies.
- Understanding of fabrication processes, installation methods, and countertop markets.
- Existing relationships within the GTA design, stone, or fabrication community.
- CRM experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
