Portico Intelligence, the hybrid call center where every call gets answered, for less and better than a traditional call center, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our remote team. This role is essential in driving business growth by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities within the technology and B2B sectors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, and the ability to engage with potential clients effectively. As an SDR, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and supporting our sales team in achieving strategic objectives.
Duties
- Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and social media to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline against our ideal customer profile (ICP)
- Qualify inbound inquiries and identify potential opportunities aligned with company goals
- Engage with prospective clients through consultative conversations, demonstrating the value of Portico Intelligence's hybrid call center solution
- Book qualified appointments and demos for senior sales team members
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and manage your pipeline in our CRM
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions
- Support business development initiatives by researching target markets and identifying key decision-makers
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience required, cold calling and/or door to door sales, preferably within technology, software, or B2B environments
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections professionally
- Excellent communication skills in English, proficiency in French is a plus
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Ambitious and self-driven, wants to be part of a startup from an early stage and grow into a senior sales or leadership role as we scale
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to building relationships
- Technical aptitude to understand complex products and articulate their benefits effectively
