Job Posting: Delivery Driver – LP Logistics
Locally owned and operated, LP Logistics is growing and looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team. We’re currently hiring Delivery Drivers to assist the team and complete appliance, furniture, plumbing and various white glove deliveries for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a delivery team to ensure safe and efficient deliveries
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Inspect, clean and assist in the maintenance of company vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service at every stop
- Safely handle heavy items using team lifts (100 lbs+)
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items with a partner
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience operating five-ton trucks or similar vehicles (required)
- Must posses a clean MVR (motor vehicle record)
- Claims experience or a letter of experience (asset)
Successful candidates will gain valuable, hands-on experience in the logistics and trucking industry while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- 5 Ton or larger truck driving: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 or greater Licence (required)
