Supply Chain Planning & Analytics Specialist for our client, a leading manufacturing organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional with strong analytical skills, forecasting expertise, and a passion for driving operational excellence through data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting demand planning, inventory optimization, forecasting accuracy, and supply chain reporting. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Production Planning, Operations, and IT teams to develop actionable insights that support business performance and ensure effective planning across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports that support sales forecast tracking, supply chain planning, and business performance measurement.
- Prepare and update basestock tank projection files using forecasts, projected demand, open customer orders, and blending requirements.
- Generate inventory projections to support production planning and operational decision-making.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators including forecast accuracy, demand variability, inventory performance, and service levels.
- Produce backcasting and analytical reports to identify opportunities for forecast improvements and planning optimization.
- Prepare detailed analytics and reporting packages for monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings.
- Maintain opportunity and supply chain flexibility reports to support strategic planning initiatives.
Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Support forecasting and demand planning activities through detailed analysis of sales trends, customer demand patterns, inventory levels, and operational requirements.
- Perform statistical forecast adjustments within forecasting systems using analytical insights and business knowledge.
- Analyze demand variability and identify risks and opportunities that may impact inventory and production plans.
- Support continuous improvement of forecasting processes and planning methodologies.
Inventory & Production Planning Support
- Update and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on demand and supply balancing requirements.
- Support inventory planning initiatives to optimize stock levels and minimize supply chain risk.
- Collaborate with Production Planning teams to align inventory, manufacturing capacity, and customer demand requirements.
- Assist with warehouse replenishment and inventory management strategies when required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Production Planning, Operations, Forecasting, and IT teams to address business issues and improve planning processes.
- Provide analytical support and business recommendations to stakeholders.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Support special projects and additional business initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

Proven experience supporting supply chain decision-making through analytics and reporting.

Experience with Aspen DM.

Experience within the lubricants, petroleum, or related manufacturing industry is considered an asset.
