Responsibilities and Expectations
- To ensure that all products produced meet customer specifications. (Micro, Leakers, Formulation, etc.)
- To issue batch sheets and verify completeness and accuracy
- To issue release notices as required for raw batches
- To complete all forms correctly and accurately (e.g. Line Check forms)
- To check, verify and issue acceptance notices for incoming ingredients
- To verify sanitations records
- To be cross trained for QC and Micro lab work
- To perform Micro lab work for (stress testing, media preparation, dilution preparation, plating, plate reading, water sample testing, swab plating from various areas, autoclaving, etc.)
- To keep your work area clean, secure and follow GMP’s and procedures provided
- To work in a safe and healthy environment
- To be innovative in coming up with solutions to problems
- To work with your supervisor on related issues
- To advise your supervisor of improvements in your area or in the process
Knowledge, Skills & Education
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline
- One year of experience in a related position
- Proficient in computer application (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Access)
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Ability to demonstrate analytical and organizational skills
- Must be available to work shift work, holidays, and weekends
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
