Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to accurately process customer orders and payments.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, providing correct change and managing cash handling procedures responsibly.
- Serve customers efficiently with friendly service while upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas by following proper food handling and safety protocols.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks, ensuring food is prepared according to quality standards.
- Manage order flow during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills to keep service smooth and efficient.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations ensures safe handling of ingredients.
- Experience with cashiering systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and proper kitchen hygiene standards is highly desirable.
