Job Summary
NEW STORE OPENING ALERT: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Butcher to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment focused on food preparation, handling, and packaging. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting and kitchen operations, and will prioritize food safety and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Prepare and handle various food items, with an emphasis on meat cutting and processing
- Assist with food preparation tasks according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate equipment related to food handling and packaging efficiently and safely
- Ensure all food products are stored, handled, and processed in compliance with food safety regulations
- Package finished products accurately for distribution or sale
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment
- Support team members in meeting production goals while adhering to quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers or during product pickup
Requirements
- Prior experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation, butchery, or kitchen operations is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
- Ability to perform precise meat cutting and portioning tasks
- Experience with packaging processes and maintaining hygiene standards in a kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks as needed
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including some weekends or early mornings if required by operational needs
