Scholars of Woodbridge is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Volunteers who are ready to join our team. As a Summer Camp Counsellor at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. We take pride in delivering results that matter to all of our students, and our teachers play a key role in this journey.
The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars’ teaching methodology. Candidates must be confident teaching elementary graders, take on fun summer activities, have good communication skills and can conduct engaging sessions with the young students. The volunteer hours that you work can be used towards your hours/ experience wirking with kids and is helpful for candiddates applying to teachers' college.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- ENERGETIC, POSITVE AND GOAL-ORIENTED ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR FOR KIDS- STEM activities/ Kids yoga & mindfulness, crafts, or tutoring elementary grades
- Previous experience working with students is an asset.
- A passion to help students reach their potential.
- Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail.
- Ability to teach groups of up to 3-5 students.

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 6-10 hours per week within our hours of operation below.
