General Production Worker
$19.00 per hour
Nova Staffing is currently hiring General Production Workers for a well-established food processing facility. This is a permanent opportunity offering steady full-time hours, comprehensive training, and the chance to build a long-term career in food manufacturing.

Shift Schedule
Rotating 12-hour shifts:
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Alternating day and night shifts
- Schedule provided upon hire and subject to operational requirements
Responsibilities
- Operate food processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and verify processing conditions during production
- Set up, adjust, and operate production and packaging machinery
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Remove impurities and monitor product quality throughout processing
- Record production data including quantities, weights, lot numbers, dates, and product types
- Track raw material usage throughout the production process
- Perform minor machine adjustments and clear product blockages as required
- Clean equipment and maintain a sanitary work environment
- Monitor ingredient levels to ensure uninterrupted production
- Assist with troubleshooting and report mechanical issues to supervisors
- Follow all food safety, quality control, GMP, and workplace safety procedures
- Support production targets while minimizing waste
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of manufacturing, production, warehouse, food processing, or related experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Safety-focused with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Comfortable working with food products, including onions, wheat, frozen blueberries, carrots, and other ingredients
- English language proficiency with a minimum CLB Level 4
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
