Downright Demolition is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Demolition Foreman to lead our crews and keep jobs running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment. You'll be on-site running the crew, setting the pace, and making sure the job gets done right — safely, on time, and to spec.
What You'll Be Doing

Leading and directing a demolition crew on-site — walls, floors, structures, strip-outs

Planning daily work sequencing and assigning tasks to keep the job on schedule

Operating and overseeing use of equipment such as scissor lifts, Hiltis, ride-on floor machines, and hand tools

Enforcing site safety protocols and ensuring crew compliance at all times

Coordinating with the Site Supervisor on scope, schedule, and any site issues

Training, coaching, and holding crew members accountable to Downright's standards

Maintaining tools and equipment, and reporting issues or needs

Keeping the job site clean, organized, and safe

Comfortable being the point person on-site when the Site Supervisor isn't around
Experience & Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of demolition experience, including prior lead hand or foreman experience

Proven ability to lead and manage a crew on-site

Valid Class 5 driver's license

Access to your own reliable vehicle (must be able to get to job sites across Edmonton & area)

Ownership steel-toed 6-inch boots
Certifications (Current, or willing to obtain quickly)

Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) is required

Fall Protection is required
-
Aerial Work Platform is an asset
-
First Aid is an asset
