Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labor & Packer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting production operations through various manual tasks, assembly, packaging, and warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with warehouse or manufacturing environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in assembly, use of hand tools, and equipment operation within a dynamic industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly of products using hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Perform packaging of finished goods according to quality standards
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
- Support the movement of materials and products throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
- Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies during the packing process
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus, but training will be provided
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools are desirable
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is important
