The ideal candidate will have graduated this year or last year from a university, have strong technical and analytical skills and have a desire to continually learn, embrace challenges, and grow with our Valuation team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Detailed financial statement analysis
- Preparation of Engagement Letters, Information Requests, Letters of Representation, and Term Sheets
- Development of Valuation Models supportable by CICBV standards
- Preparation of Valuation Reports consistent with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV) standards
- Preparation of documents to support clients with Mergers and Acquisitions, such as 1-page Information Sheets or Confidential Information Memorandums
- Conducting industry and economic research
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with strong quantitative skills
- Interest in pursuing a CPA designation or CBV designation
- Demonstrates academic excellence and leadership
- Team player with strong desire to learn while being challenged, mentored and supported as you develop along your career path
- Highly motivated, committed, and flexible to cope with changing priorities and strict deadlines
- Strong analytical and writing skills with high attention to detail
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong problem-solving skills
- Is motivated and an enthusiastic self-starter
- Strong computer and financial modeling skills, with expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
