Full-Time Housekeeper — Furnished & Short-Term Rental Suites (Toronto)
Permanent · Full-Time · Toronto Boutique Apartments
About the role
Toronto Boutique Apartments manages a portfolio of furnished and short-term rental suites across downtown Toronto (Yorkville, Liberty Village, and surrounding areas). We're hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper for a permanent, full-time position on our in-house cleaning team. Unlike casual gig cleaning, this is a stable role with consistent weekly hours, a set schedule you can plan your life around, and a team that trains and supports you. You'll be the person who turns each suite around between guests to a high, repeatable standard — directly shaping the guest experience and our reputation.
What you'll do
- Clean, sanitize, and reset guest suites, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to our established turnover standard
- Change and make beds, refresh linens and towels, and restock toiletries and guest supplies
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust throughout, leaving each unit guest-ready
- Document completed cleans with photos and promptly report any damage, missing items, or maintenance issues
- Handle deep-clean and special sanitation tasks as scheduled
- Use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following proper procedures
- Travel between assigned units across the city over the course of a shift
Schedule & hours
- Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week on a fixed weekly rotation that includes weekend coverage (our team is staggered so suites are covered seven days a week)
- Availability for extended shifts (up to 10–12 hours) during our peak season (roughly May–August), when guest turnover is highest — overtime is paid per Ontario employment standards
- Reliable transportation or comfort using public transit to move between units
What we're looking for
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without cutting corners
- Reliability and a solid work ethic — you show up, on time, ready to work
- Physical stamina: standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Good time management — completing assigned turnovers within scheduled windows
- Comfortable working independently across multiple locations, and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable following checklists and submitting simple photo/reporting updates from your phone
Nice to have (not required — we'll train the right person)
- Prior cleaning, custodial, hotel, or hospitality experience
- Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and chemical safety
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
