JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Mechatronics Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, or Electromechanic!
Job Description:
- Participate in R&D projects related to maple syrup equipment and heating systems;
- Prepare plans, drawings, and technical specifications;
- Estimate project costs and timelines;
- Design prototypes, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and accessories;
- Program equipment and machinery;
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of SolidWorks software is an asset;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team;
- Functional knowledge of English required to read technical documentation, communicate with certain suppliers’ technical support teams, and occasionally interact with clients;
