Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers, including daycare routines and classroom management techniques
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support child welfare and developmental milestones
Requirements
- Valid BC ECE
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
