Job Duties
- Prepare and process import customs documentation in compliance with CBSA regulations.
- Review and submit Customs Accounting Declarations (CAD), ensuring HS code accuracy and proper duty/tax calculation.
- List and manage import requests by client and mode (air, ocean, ground) to ensure smooth coordination and timely release.
- Handle and verify FTA certificates of origin, maintaining accurate HS code records for client shipments.
- Monitor and manage shipments to ensure on-time customs release, resolving any clearance issues promptly.
- Utilize various CBSA and internal applications (including CARM Portal) to process and track import declarations efficiently.
- Support occasional after-hours or weekend coverage, maintaining communication with carriers and clients when time-sensitive shipments require clearance follow-up
Job Requirements
- CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) certification preferred
- Knowledge of customs documentation processes (CAD, FTA) and HS code classification
- Understanding of customs regulations and compliance requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or currently enrolled and expected to graduate
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Korean preferred

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
